Who it's for

Built for contractors who work across two languages

General contractors, subcontractors, remodelers and builders whose office, crews and clients don't all speak the same language. Every profile on PuenteVA is built around construction work in both English and Spanish.

Main focus

Contractors who run in Spanish

Your office: EspañolClients & GCs: English

Your company runs in Spanish, but more of your clients, general contractors, inspectors and suppliers work in English.

  • Proposals, RFIs and client updates written in clear, professional English
  • English bid invitations, specs and emails summarized for your team in Spanish
  • Follow-ups on submitted proposals that don't stall waiting for a translator
Also serving

U.S. contractors with Spanish-speaking crews

Your office: EnglishCrews & subs: Español

Your project managers work in English, while many of your crews, subcontractors or homeowners speak Spanish.

  • Schedules, delivery changes and punch lists confirmed with crews in Spanish
  • Safety documents and notices prepared in both languages for your review
  • Field updates reported back to your PMs in English so nothing gets lost
Construction roles

Two construction pillars to hire for

The directory is organized around the back-office work that keeps jobs moving and bids going out. Profiles show which pillar each specialist has been assessed for, and which construction software they use.

Construction Operations & Project Admin

Bilingual project coordinators who keep schedules, subs, permits and clients in sync from the office side.

Typical tasks

  • Updating schedules, daily logs, RFIs and submittals in Procore or Buildertrend
  • Tracking subcontractors: start dates, scopes, insurance and follow-ups
  • Organizing municipal permit submittals and inspection bookings
  • Collecting and tracking certificates of insurance (COIs) and safety documentation
  • Client intake calls, proposal follow-ups and project updates in English and Spanish

Coordination and paperwork. Field supervision, code interpretation and contract decisions stay with your team.

Estimating Support & Financial Admin

Remote estimating admins and construction bookkeepers who prepare the numbers your estimator and owner sign off on.

Typical tasks

  • Quantity takeoffs and plan scaling in Bluebeam Revu or PlanSwift
  • Organizing bid packages, sending RFQs and comparing vendor and sub quotes
  • Following up on submitted bids and tracking win/loss
  • Entering invoices, matching receipts and tracking job costs in QuickBooks or Xero
  • Keeping cash-flow and payment-due lists current for your review

Takeoffs and numbers are prepared for your review. Final pricing and bids stay with your estimator, and bookkeeping support isn't accounting or tax advice.

How it works

Four steps, and you stay in control

The platform helps you find and screen construction specialists. Every hiring decision, conversation and payment happens directly between you and the person you hire.

  1. Post a job You

Pick the construction tasks and software you need, like "takeoffs in Bluebeam" or "Procore daily logs", and set your exact English and Spanish requirements.

  2. Smart text & AI matching Platform

Review profiles that the platform's automated screening has filtered against your tasks, tools and language needs, using each person's written answers, samples and assessment results.

  3. Message and interview directly You

Message candidates on the platform, set up your own video interviews (Zoom or similar), and give them a sample takeoff or a mock RFQ if you like.

  4. Hire directly You

Agree on pay and terms with the person you choose, pay them yourself, and give them access to your jobs. We take no cut and add no markup.

What the platform does

  • Hosts construction job posts and a searchable directory of profiles
  • Runs language assessments and shows the results on profiles
  • Filters profiles by construction tasks, software and languages
  • Provides messaging between contractors and specialists

What we don't do

  • Employ, place or manage anyone you hire
  • Run payroll or handle anyone's pay
  • Take commissions or add markups to salaries
  • Take part in the agreement between you and your hire

A flat monthly subscription, nothing on top

FAQ

Questions contractors ask

Do these specialists understand construction terminology?

Profiles show each person's construction background, such as quantity surveying, civil engineering, estimating or construction admin, along with the terms they use in both languages in their writing samples. Experience varies from person to person, so check it in your interview: ask about RFIs, change orders, submittals or takeoffs, and listen to how they explain them in English and Spanish.

Can they use tools like Procore, Buildertrend or Bluebeam?

Profiles list the construction software each person says they've used, including Procore, Buildertrend, Bluebeam Revu, PlanSwift, QuickBooks and Xero, and you can filter by tool. Software use is self-reported, so we recommend a short practical test, like a sample takeoff or a Procore daily log. You provide the software licenses and access.

Can a remote hire do takeoffs and estimates?

They can do quantity takeoffs, scale plans, organize bid packages and compare quotes in the tools you use. Your estimator or owner still reviews the numbers and sets final pricing before any bid goes out.

Can they talk to my crews, subs and inspectors?

Yes. Bilingual support covers calls and messages in both languages, and live interpretation is a separate skill shown on profiles that passed that assessment. Check each person's availability in Philippine Time against your crews' working hours.

Is PuenteVA a staffing agency?

No. PuenteVA is a subscription platform. We don't place, employ or manage anyone. You find people on the platform, and any working relationship is directly and only between your company and the person you hire.

What does the subscription cost, and do you charge commissions?

It's a flat monthly fee for platform access, with packages for different levels of use. We're finalizing prices; they'll be confirmed before you subscribe. There are no commissions on hires and no markups on salaries.

Who pays the person I hire, and how?

You do, directly, using the method and schedule you agree on with them. We don't run payroll or handle payments between contractors and specialists.

What does the AI screening do?

Automated tools, including AI, compare applicants' written answers, samples, listed software and assessment results with the requirements in your job post, so you can start with the closest matches. You still review every profile and make every decision yourself.

Is it free for specialists?

Yes. There's no fee to create a profile or apply to jobs.

Bids piling up? Crews and clients in two languages?

Post a construction job, pick the tasks and software you need, and preview it before anything goes live. We'll share subscription packages when they open. No commitment.
